Cyanotype Scarves - Afternoon

In this workshop you will learn the antique photographic printing technique called cyanotype. But rather than print on paper, in this workshop you will learn how to print on silk or muslin scarves. The result will be a gorgeous and wearable work of art.

These are treated with a phosphate detergent and black tea to change their color from blue to brown. Join Ms. Farr-Williams and learn how to use the sun as an ultraviolet light source, the key ingredient in this and all photographic processes.

Led by Katerina Farr-Williams
